Ingredients
1 and 1/2 lbs. chicken thighs
1 cup cornflakes cereal
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Wash hands with soap and water.
Remove skin and bone from chicken thighs. Cut thighs into bite-sized pieces.
Wash hands with soap and water after touching raw poultry.
Place cornflakes in plastic bag and crush by using a rolling pin.
Add seasonings to crushed cornflakes.
Close bag tightly and shake until blended.
Add a few chicken pieces at a time to the cornflake mixture.
Shake to coat evenly.
Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Place chicken pieces on the cookie sheet so they are not touching.
Bake until golden brown and chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F), about 12-14 minutes.
Note
1. You can also use boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts for the nuggets.
