Beef Burger and Vegetable Dinner

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef, formed into 4 patties
4 medium potatoes, cut into wedges
4 small carrots, cut into wedges
1 medium onion, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Wash hands with soap and water.
Gently rub vegetables under cool running water. Place vegetables in an aluminum pan or on aluminum foil. Spray with a small amount of spray oil and season with salt and pepper.r
If using aluminum pan: cover pan with aluminum foil.
If using aluminum foil: close foil by bringing the four corners of the foil up together in a pyramid shape. Fold open edges together.
Place on grill and cook 30 minutes.
Carefully remove from grill and place burgers on top of vegetables. Return to grill and cook for 30 more minutes, or until hamburgers are thoroughly cooked. Internal temperature should reach 160 degrees F on food thermometer.
Note

To cook in an oven, preheat to 350 degrees F. Place vegetables in a 13-in by 9-in baking pan. Cover with foil and cook 30 minutes. Add burgers and cook for 30 more minutes, or until cooked through.
