Broccoli with Garlic Stir-Fry

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 cup broccoli
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup water
ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation 

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.

  2. Heat oil in fry pan over medium heat.

  3. Gently rub broccoli under cool running water. Add broccoli and garlic.

  4. Add 1/4 cup water and cover pan with lid for 2 minutes.

  5. Remove lid, stir mixture, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes longer.

  6. Stir often until broccoli is soft and water has boiled away. Season to taste.

Note: 

1. Shredded carrots would make a great addition to this recipe!
