Ingredients

3 cup whole-wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoon butter, softened
2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine butter, sugar, honey, yogurt, and vanilla.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir all together until well blended.

  5. Place dough onto a lightly floured clean work surface. Using a rolling pin, roll the mixture until it is about 1/8 inch thick sheet and pat into a rectangular shape.

  6. Place rectangular dough sheet onto a large ungreased rectangular cookie sheet. Using a table knife, score the flattened dough into 2½ inch squares and prick each with a fork.

  7. Bake for about 8 - 13 minutes.

  8. Separate into squares when finished cooking.
