Ingredients
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 cup pre-made baking mix, such as Bisquick, reduced fat
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Wash hands with soap and water.
Remove skin from chicken. Pat dry with paper towel and cut into pieces. Wash hands with soap and water after touching raw chicken.
Combine baking mix, herbs, and paprika in a shallow dish.
Roll chicken pieces into Bisquick mixture.
Spray baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and heat in oven for approximately 10 minutes.
Add chicken to pan and bake uncovered for 30 minutes on one side. Turn chicken over and bake an additional 30 minutes or until golden brown and reaches internal temperature of 165 degrees.
