Tuna Pasta Salad

1 cup pasta, such as macaroni or rotini, uncooked
2 can (6 ounces each) tuna in water
2 cup zucchini, chopped
1/2 cup carrots, sliced
1/3 cup red onion, diced
1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise or plain yogurt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Wash hands with soap and water.
Gently rub produce under cold running water before preparing ingredients. Scrub carrots with a clean vegetable brush or towel under running water.
Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Let cool before step 5.
Drain water from tuna and rinse in a colander or strainer. Add tuna to medium mixing bowl.
Add cooked and cooled macaroni, zucchini, carrots, and red onion to tuna.
Stir in mayonnaise and black pepper.
Chill until ready to serve.
