Ingredients
¼ cup onion, finely chopped
1 pound ground turkey
1 egg
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon or pinch of black pepper
Preparation
Wash hands with soap and water.
Gently rub onion under cold running water before preparing.
Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add onion and sauté until soft, about 5-10 minutes. Let cool for several minutes before handling.
Combine cooked onion, ground turkey, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Form into four patties.
Wash hands with soap and water after handling raw turkey.
Spray large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add patties and cook. Turn once to brown both sides. Cook until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Serve on a bun with your favorite burger toppings or with a salad.
