Ingredients
1 can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
2 cloves minced garlic or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon sesame tahini paste or peanut butter
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
2 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
Preparation
Wash hands with soap and water.
Gently rub produce under cool running water.
Place garbanzo beans, garlic, lemon juice, tahini paste/peanut butter, and olive oil in blender or food processor.
Blend ingredients together until smooth. Transfer to a medium mixing bowl.
Add jalapeno and cilantro. Mix gently until combined.
